Count children and adults, record every dietary need and allergy in the parent's own words, then plan the buffet and snacks, drinks, cake and desserts. Starting-point quantities, a shopping list, a serving plan, supplier questions and a leftovers page keep it simple. Sensible allergy and food-hygiene reminders are built in.
