Cookies & Browser Storage

Cookie Policy

This policy lists the cookies and browser storage this website actually uses, why we use them, how long they last and the choices you have.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small pieces of information a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage (which stays until cleared) and sessionStorage (which is removed when you close the tab). This policy covers all of them.

Cookies We Set

We set no cookies on an ordinary visit. The cookies below are first-party, are created only when you use the feature they support, cannot be read by page scripts (HttpOnly), are sent only over secure connections and only to this website (Secure, SameSite=Lax). None are used for advertising or to track you on other websites.

Payments are completed on Stripe's own secure checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies on that page for fraud prevention and to process the payment; see Stripe's privacy and cookie information when you are on their page.

Browser Storage

Our forms and planning tools keep unfinished work in your browser so you do not lose progress. Almost all of it uses sessionStorage, so it is removed when you close the tab. Details you type are only sent to us when you choose to submit a form.

Website Statistics

We run our own first-party website statistics so we can understand which pages are useful and how people find us. It does not use cookies and no third-party analytics company is involved.

  • A random visitor identifier is kept in localStorage and a random session identifier in sessionStorage. They are not linked to your name, email address, phone number or anything you type into a form.
  • We record the page visited, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a campaign link) and a broad device type such as mobile or desktop.
  • Optional Where's Cameron play and unique-player estimates use the same visitor identifier only after you explicitly allow website statistics below. Before that choice, while statistics are switched off, or when Global Privacy Control is on, those game counts are not recorded. Published totals therefore undercount actual plays. Gameplay, sharing and leaderboards are unaffected. The leaderboard cookie is separate and is not used for these estimates.
  • We do not store your IP address and we do not fingerprint your device.
  • Raw statistics events are deleted automatically after 90 days. Short-lived game play-dedupe and monthly unique-identity rows are cleaned on a weekly schedule; public aggregate play and monthly unique totals are kept.
  • Private pages (Admin, My Booking, quote and RSVP links, purchase confirmations) are not recorded.

When you send an enquiry or start a checkout, our server records that a conversion happened (for example “enquiry from the contact page”) so we can see which pages lead to enquiries. This record does not contain your contact details.

Marketing Cookies (Meta Pixel)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Meta's pixel is optional: our pages load it only if you allow marketing cookies, and only then does Meta receive page-view and advertising measurement data from this website. Where enabled in our advertising account, Meta may use this information to help us measure advertising performance and show more relevant advertising. It is off until you choose Allow, and it never loads if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

  • The pixel tells Meta which public pages you view here, with your browser details. Meta also receives your IP address when your browser contacts it, and may link the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account you are signed in to.
  • It never runs on private pages (Admin, My Booking, quote and RSVP links, downloads or purchase confirmations). It records page views only: automatic tracking of button clicks and page details is switched off.
  • We do not send purchase events through the pixel. Any purchase-conversion reporting to Meta comes from a separate integration between our payment provider, Stripe, and Meta, not from the pixel on this website.
  • The _fbp and _fbc cookies below may be created only after you allow marketing cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time below; this stops the pixel and removes those cookies from this website.
  • Meta uses this information under its own privacy policy, as a separate controller.

Your Choices

You can allow or switch website statistics off at any time. Optional Where's Cameron play counts need an explicit allow below. When statistics are off, no statistics identifiers are created or sent from this browser, any existing ones are removed, and game play counting from this browser stops (including queued counts). Gameplay, sharing and leaderboards still work. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, statistics are switched off automatically.

The cookies listed above are needed for the features you choose to use (signing in to My Booking, opening a plan you purchased, or using the AI planning helpers), so they cannot be switched off without stopping those features working.

Third-Party Services

No third-party scripts, tracking tags or embedded widgets run on our pages unless you allow marketing cookies, which loads Meta's pixel. Website fonts are served from this website.

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): only if you allow marketing cookies; see Marketing Cookies.
  • Google reviews: review cards may show the reviewer's public Google profile picture, which your browser loads from Google's image servers.
  • Stripe: when you choose to pay, you are taken to Stripe's checkout page, where Stripe's own policies apply.
  • Links to WhatsApp, email apps and social media: these services only receive information if you choose to follow the link.

Advertising

The Meta Pixel is our only advertising technology, and it runs only with your consent. If you reject marketing cookies, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it never loads. If you allow them and later switch them off, the pixel stops and Meta's cookies are removed from this website. We will update this policy and ask again before using any other advertising technology.

Managing Browser Data

You can delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings, or use private browsing. Clearing them will remove unfinished form and planning progress and will sign you out of My Booking on that device.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy whenever we add, remove or change a cookie or storage item. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more generally.
