Booking Information

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how enquiries, quotes, bookings, payments, cancellations and event services are handled by Cameron's Events Entertainment.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Your written quote and booking confirmation may contain additional details specific to your event. Those details should be read alongside these terms.

About These Terms

These terms apply to consumer bookings made with Cameron's Events Entertainment. Separate or additional written terms may apply to business, corporate, venue or subcontracted bookings where agreed in writing.

Event-specific details in your accepted quote or booking confirmation form part of the agreement. Nothing in these terms removes rights provided by law.

The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into the agreement.

Enquiries and Quotes

Website forms, messages and planning tools are enquiries only. An enquiry does not reserve equipment, performers or a date.

Quotes depend on availability, timings, location, access, services and your requirements. A quote should clearly identify what is included. Any travel, staffing, setup, collection or optional-extra charges must be disclosed before booking.

Prices may be corrected if an obvious error has occurred, but you will be told before accepting or paying. Cameron's Events will not change an agreed price arbitrarily after a booking has been formed.

Quote-validity periods will only be stated when genuinely included in the quote.

Where a price cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, you will be told how it will be calculated before making the booking.

Forming a Booking

A booking is formed only when:

  • Availability has been checked
  • The required event details have been agreed
  • Cameron's Events has issued written confirmation
  • The required deposit or agreed payment has been received
  • Any required customer acceptance has been completed

The deposit amount and final-payment date will be stated in your written quote or booking confirmation.

A social-media message or quote alone does not necessarily confirm the booking. You should check the confirmation immediately and report incorrect dates, addresses, timings or service details promptly.

The person making the booking is responsible for having authority to arrange the event and use the venue.

Prices and Payments

The total agreed price, deposit and balance deadline will be shown in your quote or booking confirmation. Mandatory charges known at the time must be included or clearly disclosed. Optional extras require your agreement.

No optional payment or marketing choice should be preselected on the website. You must use the approved payment methods given in your booking confirmation. A date may not be secured until the required payment has cleared. Receipts or written confirmation should be provided where appropriate.

Late payment

Cameron's Events may contact you when payment is overdue. Services should not be cancelled automatically without reasonable notice where circumstances allow.

If payment remains outstanding, Cameron's Events may suspend preparation or cancel the booking after informing you. Any financial consequence must reflect the contract, work completed, costs incurred and applicable law.

Consumer Cancellation Rights

Consumer bookings made entirely online, by phone, email or away from business premises may carry a statutory cancellation period. For many service contracts, this is normally 14 days beginning after the contract is entered into. Legal exceptions may apply depending on the booking and what is being supplied.

You can cancel by making a clear statement. You do not have to use a specific cancellation form.

Short-notice bookings

Where the event or preparation must begin during a statutory cancellation period, you may be asked to expressly request that the service starts. If you then cancel after work has begun, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for services properly supplied up to cancellation.

Where a service has been fully performed following the required express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end. This must be handled according to the particular contract and applicable law.

Customer Cancellations

You should notify Cameron's Events as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Contact cameronsevententertainment@gmail.com. You may also use the approved WhatsApp contact number, but written email confirmation is encouraged for clear records.

Any refund, retained payment or additional cancellation amount will depend on timing and circumstances. Cameron's Events may take account of reasonable direct losses such as preparation already completed, committed supplier costs and loss arising from being unable to rebook the date. Savings resulting from cancellation and money recovered by rebooking must also be considered.

Cameron's Events will take reasonable steps to reduce its losses. A cancellation charge must not operate as an automatic punishment. You may request an explanation of how any retained amount was calculated. Statutory cancellation rights take priority where applicable.

Rescheduling

You should request date changes as early as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Equipment, performers and suppliers may not be available on the new date.

Price changes caused by a different location, duration, service or supplier must be explained before agreement. Payments may be transferred to a new date where agreed. If no suitable date is available, the request may need to be treated as a cancellation. Any amount retained must still be fair and reflect the circumstances and losses.

Changes or Cancellation by Cameron's Events

Cameron's Events may occasionally need to make a reasonable change because of illness, equipment failure, performer unavailability, safety concerns, venue restrictions, travel disruption or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where possible, Cameron's Events may offer:

  • A suitable replacement
  • An equivalent service
  • A revised time
  • A new date
  • A price adjustment
  • A refund for services that cannot be supplied

Material changes require customer communication. You should not be forced to accept a substantially different service. If Cameron's Events cancels and does not provide an agreed replacement, payments for the unprovided service should normally be refunded. Nothing excludes rights arising where Cameron's Events is legally responsible.

Event Information and Venue Access

You are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Event date, start and finish times
  • Venue details, address and postcode
  • Contact number
  • Guest numbers and age groups
  • Indoor or outdoor status
  • Access times, parking and loading details
  • Stairs, lifts or access restrictions
  • Power availability and space measurements
  • Venue rules and sound limitations

You must obtain permission from the venue for the selected services. The venue must be suitable and provide safe access. Extra work or costs caused by materially incorrect information must be discussed and agreed where possible.

Cameron's Events may refuse an unsafe setup. Refusing an unsafe setup does not automatically decide the refund position; this must be assessed fairly based on responsibility and costs.

Outdoor Events and Weather

Outdoor services depend on weather, ground conditions and safe installation. Rain, wind, extreme heat, flooding, unstable ground or electrical risk may affect delivery. Safety decisions may be made on the event day using current conditions, equipment guidance and applicable safety requirements.

You should provide a suitable indoor alternative where practical. Equipment must not be used when Cameron's Events considers conditions unsafe. Customers and venues must follow instructions to stop use.

Options may include an indoor alternative, replacement service, rescheduling, credit, partial refund or refund depending on the circumstances, preparation completed and agreed booking. The outcome must remain fair and consistent with consumer law.

Bouncy Castles, Soft Play and Equipment

Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose. Safety instructions must be followed. A responsible adult must provide continuous supervision where required. User limits, age guidance and equipment instructions must be followed.

  • Shoes, sharp objects, food, drinks, face paint or other restricted items must be kept away where instructed
  • Equipment must not be moved, altered, disconnected or relocated without permission
  • Safety mats, anchoring and barriers must not be moved
  • Use must stop immediately if equipment becomes unsafe, deflates, moves or is damaged
  • You must prevent unauthorised use outside agreed hire times
  • Collection access must remain available

Mascots and Costume Hire

Attended mascot visits

  • A responsible adult must remain responsible for children and guests
  • The performer requires a safe and private area to prepare where agreed
  • Guests must not pull, strike, climb on or deliberately obstruct the performer
  • Vision and movement may be restricted inside a costume
  • Visit timings may include reasonable entry, exit or performer-break requirements
  • Activities may be adjusted where safety requires it

Costume-only hire

  • Collection and return arrangements must be agreed
  • You should inspect the costume on collection where practical
  • The costume must be kept dry, secure and away from smoke, food and avoidable damage
  • You must not permanently alter, cut, glue or repair it without permission
  • Cleaning and damage claims must reflect reasonable actual costs; normal wear should not be charged as damage
  • Late-return consequences must be reasonable and linked to actual loss, including affected bookings

Character-style costumes are provided as entertainment costumes and are not represented as official endorsements or partnerships unless expressly stated.

DJ and Celebration Entertainment

  • Music preferences and key songs should be supplied within the requested planning period
  • Specific songs are subject to availability, suitability, venue restrictions and technical access
  • Cameron's Events cannot guarantee every request will be played
  • You should communicate explicit-content requirements
  • The venue is responsible for permissions, licences and restrictions under its control
  • Sound levels may need to comply with venue instructions or legal requirements
  • Internet-dependent requests may be affected by venue connectivity
  • Guests must not interfere with DJ equipment, cables, lighting or controls
  • Dry ice and special effects require venue permission and suitable conditions
  • Smoke alarms, flooring, ventilation and venue restrictions must be checked where relevant

Customer and Guest Conduct

You are responsible for reasonable behaviour by guests under your control. Abuse, threats, violence, deliberate damage or serious unsafe behaviour will not be accepted.

Cameron's Events may pause or end a service where continuing would create a genuine safety risk. Wherever possible, you or the venue contact should first be given an opportunity to address the problem. Ending a service for safety reasons does not automatically determine whether money is refunded; this depends on the circumstances and responsibility.

Damage, Loss and Cleaning

You may be responsible for reasonable repair, specialist cleaning or replacement costs where damage or loss was caused by deliberate action, misuse or negligence by you or guests under your control. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

Cameron's Events should provide reasonable evidence of the damage and calculation. Charges should reflect the real repair, cleaning, replacement or booking-loss cost. You should report damage immediately.

Delays and Additional Time

Agreed setup and performance times depend on timely venue access. Customer or venue delays may reduce service time where later bookings, licensing or staffing prevent an extension. Cameron's Events will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

Extra time is subject to availability and agreement. Any additional charge must be disclosed and agreed before overtime is supplied where practical. If Cameron's Events arrives late for reasons within its control, an appropriate solution should be discussed based on the impact.

Photography and Marketing

Event photography for marketing must be handled separately from the booking. Permission should not be assumed from accepting these terms. Marketing consent must be optional and must not be preselected.

Permission involving identifiable children must come from an appropriate parent, guardian or authorised organiser. You may contact Cameron's Events to withdraw permission for future use. Withdrawal does not necessarily affect material already lawfully printed or distributed, but reasonable online-removal requests should be considered.

See our Privacy Policy.

Website Planning and Invitation Tools

The Event Planner provides suggestions only. Tool output is not a quote, booking confirmation or availability check. The Picture Invitation Creator produces customer-controlled designs in the browser.

You are responsible for checking dates, spelling, venue information and RSVP details. You should only upload photographs you are entitled to use. Downloaded or printed results may vary by screen, printer, browser and device.

Avoid publishing sensitive information. The tools must not be used for unlawful, harmful or infringing content. The Event Planner currently uses rule-based suggestions in the browser and does not connect to an external live AI service in the current version.

Intellectual Property

Website branding, original text, layouts and business graphics belong to Cameron's Events or their relevant licensors. You may use invitations you generate for your personal event. You retain responsibility for text and photographs you upload.

Website content must not be copied commercially without permission. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners. Nothing on the website should imply an official partnership with third-party entertainment brands unless stated.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory consumer rights, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.

Cameron's Events is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of breaching the agreement or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Cameron's Events is not generally responsible for losses that were not foreseeable or caused by inaccurate customer information, venue failures or third parties outside its reasonable control.

Consumer bookings are for private use unless otherwise agreed. Business customers should receive separately reviewed business terms where appropriate.

Events Outside Reasonable Control

Examples include:

  • Severe weather
  • Road closures or major travel disruption
  • Power failure
  • Venue closure
  • Government restrictions
  • Serious illness
  • Emergency-service incidents
  • Events making performance unlawful or unsafe

The affected party should communicate as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce the impact. Options may include a substitute service, revised timing, postponement, credit or refund. The outcome depends on the circumstances, services already provided, recoverable costs and applicable law.

Complaints

You should raise concerns as soon as possible so they can be investigated. Where practical, issues during an event should be reported to the attending team member.

Written complaints can be sent to cameronsevententertainment@gmail.com. Please include the booking name, event date and explanation. Cameron's Events will review the information and respond as soon as reasonably possible. Nothing prevents you from seeking independent advice or using your legal rights.

Privacy

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Email, WhatsApp and external platforms have their own privacy terms.

Governing Law

These terms and consumer bookings are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections that apply to them. The courts of England and Wales will generally have jurisdiction, without removing any right you may have to bring proceedings elsewhere where the law allows.
